About a year ago, we met Robert at an open house that he was hosting. We were not quite ready to buy a house, but we were “window shopping”. We liked Robert from the get-go! He was very personable, answering our questions and addressing our concerns about buying a house during a time of appreciating home prices and more stringent loan underwriting guidelines. From the day we met Robert and going forward, he kept us positive and confident about finding a home we liked at a price we were comfortable with.
Keep in mind that shopping for houses and tracking the housing market became stressful as inventory is low and prices are high in Ventura County. Robert did not try to sell us on properties that did not meet our criteria nor did he pressure us to reconsider what we wanted. Instead, he was supportive and essentially kept us focused on our goal.
When we finally found our home, Robert did everything he could to facilitate a smooth buying experience. He kept us regularly updated during escrow which was greatly appreciated as anxiety and excitement would overcome us quite often. But, again, Robert was there to keep us focused.
